Reparing a Tank

Last night my 90 gallon RR tank cracked all the way a crossed the back luckily I was home and noticed it right away only losing a few gallons of water. I moved all the live rock and animals to a 100 gallon stock tank.

Where are some good places to have the tank repaired on or near the west side of Cleveland? About how much would it cost, is it worth repairing?

Thanks

Not sure about local shops. You can replace the pane of glass yourself. Its a job but certainly can be done.

I think the bigger issue may be how the glass broke in the first place. Sounds like you may have a stand of leveling issue.

I'm not sure how it cracked. I was nodding out in front of the T.V. late at night when I heard a sound like something hit a window kind of like a bird flying into one (if you have ever heard that). Upon investigating the next thing I heard was water trickling on the floor.

The stand is a store bought pine stand I can only assume it was made properly. I never placed a level on it to see if it was. I had my light resting of the rim of the tank if this could be a factor also I don't know.

I was in such a hurry to get every thing transferred to the stock tank that I didn't notice if the rock had shifted possibly hitting the glass, an urchin maybe bulldozing it's way around.

I will most likely buy a new tank if I can't find a place to repair it. I'm thinking a 120 gallon (Must be reef ready) I like the dimensions 4x2x2.

Anyone know of a used one? Who has the best prices on tanks in Northwest/east Ohio?
