Replace wet side?

Should I replace my wet side? Seems it has begun to corrode at the top of the metal post bearing of my MP60. It's not terrible and works just fine. I could possiblely clean it with some sand paper.

Should be fine. Anything metal, salt corrodes.

There isn't much support in here. I wouldn't worry about it. In my reef it's coraline or algae covered so I can't see if it's rusting, in the freshwater tank the rust hasn't caused me any issues so far.

vinegar will take off the extra rust but that will come right back. How old is the wet side? If you call ecotech you might be surprised how nice they are.
