Replacement for Phoenix 14K 250 DE, suggestions for actinic supplement LED?

I am currently running a 48" MH 250 DE HQI x 2 with the Phoenix 14ks and 54W ATI blue + x 2. Standard 120 Oceanic tank (48x24x24), 90% SPS. I like my combination but alas, the Phoenix 14K 250W bulbs are no longer..:sad1:

What do you suggest?

I have heard the XM15K 250W bulbs are not bad and similar to the Radium 20K 400W SE?

Was also thinking of adding a pure actinic 48" LED strip. Heard reefbrites make good actinic supplements. Any suggestions? If you agree with the Reefbrites, which one? The TECH (more expensive) or the Lumi lite?

Thanks for your input.

Greg

I used to run the Phoenix 14 250s........but noe I run the reefbrite 250 20 Ks .....my wife is really picky about the color and these fit the bill perfect.....aquarium specialty carries them....

Greg,

We have launched newly redesigned Hamilton 20K HQI bulb in 150W/250W/400W. Try it and see what you think.

Local reefers here who have used Phoenix tell us they like our bulb better.

Just sold 20 - 250W HQI bulbs to ERI a coral and fish distributor in LA and they love them.

If I were running DE bulbs I'd be super tempted to pick up the hammys even with Phoenix bulbs coming back. Price is right and you know Hamilton makes great stuff

Thanks for the info. I will have to check them out. Just bought the XM 15k though so if I'm not satisfied with those, I will give the hammy a try. Good to know there are other choices.

I have received 4 x 14,000k 250 watt DE Phoenix MH bulbs from Aqua Cave! Thank the flying spaghetti monster they're back.
