Ok last week I added two false perc to a 75 gal tank. They were the only fish in the tank. When I got them at the LFS they were in a tank with many other clowns presumably all juveniles. Anyway in my tank one was showing signs of dominance the other was being submissive things looked promising for pairing.
I woke up yesterday and the submissive is missing I have no ammonia spike and I doubt the fish jumped through the egg crate top but this is not the point of my question.
I am wondering if I should attempt to by another clown or wait till the dominant and presumably female fish is bigger and more established
