Resizing Image?

Can any one resize this Image for my avatar and still make it look good. I tried but it looks like crap, as you can see by looking at my avatar. Is there any way to clear it up?

It's hard to get a good shot through angled glass.

Can anyone make this look better than what I already have it? It is my avatar right now.
