rethinking stocking list.

Ok
I have 2 clowns in QT that will be added to the DT soon. but i got approvel from members and lfs on this
2 false percs
1 orchid dottyback
1 yellow tang
1 flame angelfish

But i was rethinking it and maybe take out the orchid and get a smaller fish like the clown goby. but maybe i should just take out the dotty or clown and replace it with shrimp.

so maybe this
2 false percs
1 fire shrimp
1 coral branded shrimp
1 cleaner shrimp
1 yellow tang
1 flame angelfish

Or would i be fine with the shrimp and the dotty or clown goby?

I'd pass on the yellow tang, they need a larger tank and more swimming room. All the shrimps are fine. My coral banded is pretty cool has a good personality and is out all the time. Some I have read, catch small fish, but I haven't seen this behavior from mine and he's pretty large. I'd also pass on the dottyback they are pretty territorial in such small quarters, opt for the royal gramma. The pigmy angles are a 50/50 shot for nipping corals and clams. Fire and cleaner ships are no problem with any tank mates. You'll love both shrimps, lots of personallity with the cleaners. I know the fire shrimps are popular, might want to opt of 2 cleaners instead. Just my 2 cents.

As long as you by the tang small and plan on giving him a bigger home later you will be fine. I have a small scopas in my 55 that has plenty of room and she is very happy. I do know that eventually she will need a bigger home and when that time comes, I will upgrade.

Coral Beauty > Flame (My scopas, coral beauty, and maroon clown are always together.)
