Retrofit Kit

I was looking at lighting kit options for my 55 and noticed some retrofit kits. Exactly, what are they and how do they work?

A retro fit kit is all the electrical components to wire your own lights. EndCaps, Wires, Ballast, and bulbs. Typically this is needed for canopys which don't have room for a fixture. They are not as "pretty" as a fixture so they are less expensive since it's doesn't have a housing. Hope that answers your question.

They are great if you hide it as Eric said. I have retro's under my canopy, and you can't see them unless you look. Many people use them.
