Return pump and skimmer help

I have a Redsea Max 170 and looking at return pump and like the Sicce over the mag because of noise and heat issues from mag.

I am guessing the Sicce Syncra Silent 3.0 will be efficient or should I go with

Sicce Syncra Silent 2.0?

Also looking at the Reef Octopus Classic 150 Space Saver Protein Skimmer or

Reef Octopus Classic 110 Space Saver Protein Skimmer

May not help you but I'm trending toward reliable AC pumps from DC pumps not only because of the reliability and ability to tolerate pressure but also because of price.

I don't need something controllable right now, and I was going to choose a Sicce Syncra Silent 4.0 for my 80 gallon build. I have about 7' of head pressure, however.

What's your head pressure?
