It really depends on what other powerheads you will have in your tank and if you think one or two returns would give you the best flow coverage in the tank. My personal choice would be to use a single return with a Sea Swirl to give you random flow across the entire tank, but they are an added expense.
Is this going to be a reef tank or fish only? If it is a fish only tank I think you would be fine with the single powerhead and splitting the return into tow lines. If you plan on corals add a second powerhead and it will not matter much if you go with a single or two returns.
