Reverse Ligting Schedule

Can you run a reef lighting system with the photoperiod during the night. Would a system with 2 displays with the photoperiods in oppositon in the same room be disturbed by the others stray light.

I do exactly this.
I run one tank from midday till 11PM, and the other from midnight till 11AM. They are on a common sump.
I have a piece of board on one end of one of the tanks to minimize crossover light in the evening, but the tank that is on at night, seems to handle daylight without any issues, so the board is probably not necessary.
