Rhizos + candy basslets = yes or no?

As per title, would rhizos post a threat to my candy basslet pair? I have 4 rhizos and I'm a bit worried. I think the general consensus would be not to keep them together, but any thoughts would be appreciated - especially from some of the NPS guys with rhizo experience.

Thanks!

My smallest Candy is probably just under 2 inches... My biggest rhizo is about 6 inches across expanded!

Cheers for the input Uhuru :)

I keep a lovely pair of candy basslets with a Rose anemone and a Rhyzo in a 120 cube. Although the Rhyzo is quite small, coming back from near death. The Candy's hang out in the same vicinity but they are large compared to it. I have never noticed them going near either the Rhyzo or the Anemone. The Rose is about 6" across when fully expanded. I suppose my ORA Picasso pair keep any stray fish away from the anemone though. My Rhyzo expands tremendously at night only :( and I figure my Candy's are holed up in there cave somewhere in the rocks so no issues there either. With four large ones and no Clownfish to ward off fish coming to close....hehehehe....it might be a bit risky.

Yeah I hear you guys! I've never had any problems with fish losses to these corals but I love my candy's way too much and its taken two years to get them here in the UK.

I also love my Rhizos so it looks like I'll get a second tank just for these, and one of my all time favourite (and significantly cheaper) fish - the royal gramma.

Now I know candy basslets are little predators, so I was thinking some small sun coral frags and a few tube worms to make their tank a little more interesting. Would the tube worms be ok, or would they get eaten?

A lightening sponge would look ace, but it sounds like no one has had much joy with it. I'm gutted I have to separate my collection but it looks like needs definitely must :(

Most fish know to stay away from things that sting. I have a trimma goby that hangs out dangerously close to my rhizos but never gets too close.

A pipe might be ok, but sea horses would become lunch I fear. I have two and all my fish stay away. I think if they are healthy, and can swim at any speed your are ok. Seriously, my RBTA is more of a threat. Of you would not put whatever you are thinking about in with a anemone then it will not work with a Rhizo. IMO

NO NO NO!!!

Pipes are notorious for just backing up quickly when something scares them and they usually bump into whatever is behind them. If it's a rhizo, that's a death sentence!

Just don't put them with super powerful stinging corals.
