I've done a lot of reading and all I seem to find is the basic care requirements and some info on bleaching, etc. So what's normal for a ricordea yuma and what's a sign of stress (besides distended mouth)?
Mine seems to like his spot, but sometimes he lifts his skirt up and looks like he's trying to float away. Or is he just letting himself get cleaned off? Have also seen him leaning to one side like he was trying to move off the rock I had him on. I know they'll do this when they drop a new baby sometimes (he did).
Also, they say low flow. How low is low? Should there be ANY fluttering of him or his bulbs (obviously not flapping in the current)? I noticed the bulbs on his outer edge seem elongated at times - not sure if that's normal or a sign of too-high flow. Right now he's in a very very low flow. Have a rock diverting the indirect powerhead flow around him. Doesn't seem happy with any sort of flow at all on him.
Any links or info on their behaviors would be greatly appreciated.
