I have three shrooms with same pattern (blue with orange outter rings) and love them with moon lights only....mine have gotten huge and look like one is going to divide soon. If not one is going under the knife soon...lol I don't know how long it takes. I am sure it depends on lights, water flow, water conditions etc. so it will vary between reefers. I will be interested to see how long others feel it takes. I have only had ricordeas for about 9 months...

It varies. Out of all the rics I've ever had only one has ever split and that's because the rock it was attached to was already split and it was hanging/drooping. Wait... lies... I took the knife to a couple .

I have two polyps that eat mysis and I'm going to continue feeding these and see if it encourages multiplication.

after reading I learned two openings appear whenever they are in the process of splitting. So good to hear because it has two mouths now.
