ricordea care

so i finally managed to get my hands on some ricordea without draining my bank account. i got 2 blue heads on 2 separate rocks. i found them in chico of all places, last weekend when i was visiting my brother. anyway, so far in my tank they seem to be looking kinda dull. they're on the rock. is this the best place for them? should i move them? do i need to give them additional feeding occasionally?

tia.

depending on how long you have had them in the tank, i would say they need time to adjust to the new water.
well i've had them in the tank since sunday afternoon. one looks better, the other still looks kinda shriveled & pale. i'll keep an eye on both and can move them if i need to.

The water temperature in the wild is probably way different than what is in your tank. Rics are very hardy and they should come around in a week or two.

got pics?
i do but haven't uploaded them yet. i'll try tonight to get them up. both are looking better since i moved them into the shade. one is still paler than the other, though. i fed them mysis last night & they seemed to like it.
