Ricordea color change?

I just purchased a lavender ricordea from off the internet. When I received it yesterday it came in green. I'm not sure if they sent the wrong one or will it change color.

Ha! I know that feeling.

I've stopped considering color when shopping for rics as most of them will change color when moved to different tank. Factors like lighting, temperature, nutrient levels, alkalinity, etc. will have an effect. I've had orange turn to yellow. Yellow turn to green. Pink turn to orange.

You just can't predict.
