I bought two rics at a frag swap in June of '08. Well, I think the blue one has grown a little (no splitting, just small growth). The orange one I believe did nothing. :lol:
At the moment they are still on the frag plugs and the plugs in the sand. Would they start growing faster if they were put on a rock so they'd attach to rocks? I figured since they weren't that big they could grow onto the other part of the frag plug, but maybe I'm wrong.
Lights are 250w DE 14k halides.
