Ricordea Question

I just purchased my first ricordea. [lol]. When I placed it into my tank, I noticed that it had two mouths on one mushroom. Approximately how long will it take for the ricordea to eventually split.

It depends but I think it will take a little while. You can accelerate it but letting gravity help you out.

sometimes it will happen fast and sometimes it will happen after months. you can always cut it between the mouths and it will heal in about 2 weeks. I have had 100% success rate with doing this.
