Ricordea questions

I just got a Ricordea today and put it in my 8 gallon nano. I had to spend a while adjusting it so that it would stay in one place. I currently have it on the bottom against the main rock being kept in place by a smaller one. How long should I wait until it is attached? Also, how resilient are these because now it looks very stressed (which is no surprise) but I am just wondering. Any answers/advice is appreciated.

Usually it'll attach in just a few days, but from my experience, if you have hermit crabs in the tank, the ric wont stay in place very long. You should put a small glass or jar with rubble in the tank and place the shroom in there, that way the flow will be greatly reduced, no crabs will go in and mess with it and it'll attach faster.

Lighting type please.

For general purposes I keep my ricordia under indirect lighting and sloped into the rock work. In the past I have melted ricordia under my MH lighting I have had much better success trying to keep them slightly shaded.

It is a Nuvo 8 standard LED lighting. it's at the bottom so I think it will be fine. I am just concerned about the condition of the coral

The coral is now partially attached in a crevice on the bottom of my tank. However, the colors are faded (due to stress) and the edges of it are curved outwards. Will it correct itself or should I move it?
