Okay I am a newbie with ricordias which is to say I have one; this one, this one:

....so my question is this-----> Is it normal for her to be flexing upward and forming a cup shape....?

I have seen her doing this a few times in the last few days....?

Sorry, I can't answer your question because I am by no means an expert on rics (I don't have one....yet). I just wanted to say that it's a beaut . Hope you can find some answers and it stays in great health.

thanks....I will try and move her up to a shelf about six inches higher then where she is now.

Maybe that will help.

Donavon.....I moved it up about 6-8 inches up on the tower and I will check over the next few days to see if she is happier.

Your the one with the plastic bags.

5 ft of water? Not right off the beach or anything though right? How far out are reefs and things.. I was in Miami a couple of weeks ago.. and all I saw were some gorgonias on the pillars of the pier by my hotel..

100 yards out off miami beach? I dont think the reef is that shallow there, maybe in biscayne bay or the keys if its 5ft of water....

I wouldn't move it for a few days or even a week, just to make sure it's acclimated to the light you have it under. I prefer not to move things around too much without a bit of patience.
