ricordia help

Hello, I did a waterchange last weekend, and a single florida ricordia i picked up a couple months ago moved off the rock it was attached to and was on the sand... the ricordia looks okay, how should i get the ricordia to reattach???

I would take some wedding veil and net it to the rock. Tie it tight but not so tight that it can not expand. After about a week or so it will reattach. Or you can put it in a bowl with some rubble and let it sit in there till it attaches to some rubble then glue it to a larger rock. I have done it both ways and they work great.

That sounds easy enough, Is it common for ricordia to detach? I assume the water change bothered it...

Could be, I have had them fo that for what ever reason. As long as it is still opening and healthy it was probably a little bit of stress so it tried to move away.....Should be fine.

Thanks, Should I change the lighting intensity that it was recieving maybe? I had it at about medium light, 250watt MH, probably could stand to be a little lower.
