rics in sand ?

I bought a goldheaded goby and I have a bunch of rics on the sand bed and now its covering them with sand. They are not totally covered but is this normally bad for them? I'm building frag mags to move them all to my walls but it will be another 2 days before those are done. They should be ok till then right?

Just try to keep them uncovered with a turkey baster.
