My rics haven't really opened up a lot since I've got them. They look healthy just not open and flowing like all other rics I see around. Is it too much light? They are on the sandbed of my 75 gallon, and I have an 8 bulb 54w Tek t5 light.
I have the light about 6 inches over the tank as well.
Any ideas how to open them up more? Am I missing an element such as iodine?
