This is copied from the DA forums, where I have yet to get a response.
I finally decided to get an RKE for my new aquarium. I followed the instructions and updated each part individually. However, when I tried to plug up the entire system, and then connect it to the computer through the SID, it gave me some error about my usb drive. I did not think much of it, and assumed that restarting my computer would fix the issue. However, I let my computer sit on the shutting down screen for around 20 minutes and it would never shut down. I performed a hard reset of my computer and loaded up myreef2.0 again. However, the SID would no longer show up under the systems tab. I have tried several computer restarts, each one not shutting down, and causing me to hard reset it - I even let it try to shut down all of last night, but it never did.
Needless to say, this is more of a computer issue that a RK issue, but I figured someone might be able to help. I have tried several different USB ports, tried connecting to SID by itself, and with other parts attached. Nothing seems to be working. Any ideas?

UPDATE:
I didn't change anything, but after a while, it finally recognized the SID. I attached the head unit to it, and RKE showed up under the systems tab. I unplugged it and attached one of my 2 PC4s. It. never showed up, so I unplugged it and tried again with the head unit. Never showed up. I tried to unplug the SID and start over, but now I am unable to get the SID to be recognized.
