RLSS DB Series.

I've narrowed down to this skimmer. After talking to CS they recommended the DB series specifically the DB10. My system is a 400 gallon total volume with 5000gph moving thru the sump. I don't understand why the DB10 would be better than the DB12. SO if anyone here has any experience with this skimmers, specially this DB series please let me know your opinion.
