RO/DI units

Which RO/DI unit should I buy?

Someone has on Craigs list has a Kent Marine 3 stage Reverse Osmosis. I dont know which model. Are they any good?

Do all RO units also do DI? Or is that only some units that say both?

Is there a good reason to have both rather than just RO?

All info on these is GOOD!!!

I'd look at the 75GPD units.

The 75 membrane's have a 98% rejection rate, as also the 50 & 25, there may be more also.

The 100 GPD units only have around a 90% rejection rate. Some calm higher rates but just take it with a grain of salt.

The higher the rejection rate the longer your DI resin will last (if you use it).

Exp:

A input of 300 TDS with a 98% rate = a out put of 6 TDS.
A input of 300 TDS with a 90% rate = a out put of 30 TDS.

Whats left your DI resin will remove so the higher the TDS the faster the DI resin be used up.
