RO kits

So I have a 4 stage RO and 2 Stage DI that I got from somebody, and I want to get replacement everythings for it.

I don't know exactly how many gallons/day it was supposed to be. Will that matter when ordering stuff for it?

I know I could run it for an hour and see how many gals i get outta it, but if the stuff all needs to be changed that would skew the output right? So that won't really tell me exactly how much output it is.
