Roasted seaweed the same as dried seaweed?

Hey guys I just went to my local oriental supermarket and bought roasted seaweed. Is this the same as buying dried seaweed? It says the only ingredient is seaweed. And another package that was "roasted" said dried seaweed on the ingredients. Anyone had experience with this? Just want to make sure it is ok to feed to my tangs.

I buy the roasted seaweed from noridirect.com. Been using it for 7 years and the tangs love it.
