Robo-Tank and Reef-pi, experiences please!

I am in the process of setting up a new tank. I sold my Reefkeeper Elite when I shutdown my last system and am now shopping for a new controller. I ran across the Robo-Tank and the Reef-pi software and DIY hardware. Currently I would probably be using it to monitor temp, PH, ATO level with solenoid control from my RODI holding tank, 0-10V on lights/pumps, and provide redundancy to the system.

I’m having some trouble finding reviews/experiences with Robo-Tank and Reef-pi. My main concern is how reliable they are. If anyone has experiences with these it would be great if you could share the pros, cons, etc…

I have no experience with either system however I do know there’s a massive thread on R2R about ReefPi. I got to looking at it and it became too complex for my limited DIY skills so I just stuck with my Apex
