Rock Anemones

What is the best way to get rid of them They are overtaking my whole tank. They do not seem to be bothering the leathers, mushrooms or polyps. All of my rock is covered with them. They spread like crazy!!!!!

You could probably sell them if they are on small enough rocks. Or trade someone for a similar sized rock. If you have any colorful ones I might be interested in buying.

Best that I can tell they look like Majano anemone. Marine Solutions called them rock, but after looking on line they look like Majanos in the pictures I say. They also suggested Racoon Butterfly. Or putting a Kalk paste on them but I have thousands of them. Also read about injecting hot water into them but there are too many. Let it get out of hand before asking for help.

Bought Racoon butterfly and 6 peppermint shrimp. Also two bottles of aiptasia control by Blue Life. May need a third. It works good. Thanks for help.

I just had to remove some of these myself . I used a syring from a mag test kit and some kalk paste I made up in a jar .You have to make the kalk paste real wet so you can inject it into the center of them and they will be gone by the next day .

I've got a couple, its a shame they are pests. They look pretty cool.

Let me know how the butterflies work out!

Bought two racoons. The first one died of low ph in qt tank. The second one just died after three days in display tank. Not bad for $55. each. So I will just have to inject them 1 at a time for ever.
