How many here have used rook cooking to ric their rock of majano anemones? My tank is absolutely infested with them and I've gotten to the point where I need to do something drastic. I was wondering how long it would take to kill them all off!
It will take care of a great many of them...some 'may' survive.
But while you are getting the benefit of cleansing your rock it is super easy to kalk any extra you see since they are right there in front of you.
yeah that's what I figured...Kinda sucks having to do it though! I've got around 300 lbs of rock. I was so irritated looking at all of them I actually took a rock out and took a flame torch to it! There must have been a good 50 of them on that 6" square rock....
Actually I would probably torch all of them I could see before placing each rock into the cooking tub to make sure I minimized the chance of any surviving. I kinda liked them at first but they are definitely a menace now...
