rock cooking in fw?

can you cook rock in f/w? it would be alot of mnoey to cook rocks i suppose in s/w

I'd say that would pretty much just kill everything on the rock.

No....in order to establish the proper bacterial colonies, you need to Cook or "Dark Cure" the rock in Saltwater. In addition, the rock needs to be removed, dunked and swished in a seperate container of saltwater and replaced in the curing tub. Regular water changes is a must AND the rock needs to be kept in total darkness. Do this for 4 months or so. See you in May.
