Rock Flower Anemone

I've been searching rock nems online for couple days and I am amazed at the varieties and colors they come in. I told myself I had to have some. lol
They sure would look cool in my fusion 10 nano tank with 3 or 4 sexy shrimp.
I found one at a LFS near where I live. It was on their website for $29.99 plus tax and shipping. So I ordered it and opted to pick it up at store and save the shipping fee. So tomorrow I'll go pick it up. If I bought at the store it cost 59.99 lol

It hasn't moved from where I placed it yet. My other free one moved a few inches. Here's pics of them in tank. The pinkish looking one was free.

also, have you considered putting them in barnacle shells? looks pretty cool with a cluster of rock flower anemones

Got another rock nem from Barrier the other day. Paid lot more for it but it is really nice one. Picture not very good. Doesnt show the colors well but you can get idea. Center is yellow and tentacles look green to me. lol or maybe red. I have a hard to with colors sometimes.

I have a red and a green rock flower nem. They are pretty cool and interesting critters. Mine moved to the top of the tank and have settled in and haven't moved in a year. Give them space, my green guy has grown from 3" diameter to 7" and is trying to sting the crap out of a neighboring devils hand leather. I had to put a buffer zone rock in between them.

LA has green and red ones pretty regularly. The other color morphs are more difficult to find. I'll post pics here in a bit

Ive seen pink and green zebras for $40-$50 on the forums... I need to pick myself up one of those. I dropped $80 on the one in the pic. Couldn't pass that up.

I got one like that. Have you checked out Aquarium city and Sea King, both in Bellevue. They have some cool stuff there, too.

I've yet to see any of the zebras in person but they look intense. I'm trying to get rid of my rock nems. I can't keep up with them spawning. Started with 3 that came with a clown since he was hosting in them and have given away at least 40 of the little buggers and still have 10 or so.

I bought this one from K & P Aquatics a month ago. I love it.

They have a wide selection of Rock Flower Anemone's at reasonable prices and their shipping charges are fair as well. When I get my 180 gallon running, I'll be buying 4 or 5 more of them from these guys.

I've been to Sea King Aquariums. Chris there was very cool and knowledgable. He had an super ultra nem but it was out of my price range, he want $110.
OBD will be getting 100 nems next week. Hope to pick up couple real nice ones from them.
I've gotten 3 from Barrier Reef. All nice ones ranging from $30 to 60.
