i really need help with this problem, ive asked everyone on other fourms & locally no-one knows whats going on...the LFS tested the water for everything, no contaminates, no ammonia, nitrite, nitrate phosphate..nothing...but about 2 months ago my LR had some black patches on it..now its spread to every rock in my tank..i cant let this get worse..i used mainly dry rock with some live rock from my larger tank..im keeping LPS,SPS & some soft, so far no corals or fish show signs of illness, but black rocks cant be a good sign..can anyone tell me why the rocks are turning black ?

anyone ? i just seen on another site that this may indicate LR that is dead or dying...is it ? i really need to know as soon as possible

Need pics. Could be algae, could be sponges growing on it or it could be that hydrogen sulfide is formin in it although sulfide will form inside not outside of the rock adn will affect your critters.
