I just got a 125 drilled on the end, so both long sides will be viewable. i'm looking for information/experience on how to setup the rocks and any other information anyone has experience in this would be willing to share.

Thanks,

Adam

your easest way to make your tank look good from both sides would be to set your rock up on both sides of your tank with the sand bed in the middle, this look is known as a "valley" i have it on my 125 also and it looks awsome

no unfortunatly my scanner in down now but basically what you will do is stack it up axactly the same as the usual great wall of china look exept on the sides. and add a couple large pieces of live rock in the middle for look and hiding. The best part of this concept is that you will almost always see all of your fish.

although that is another way to do it and looks great what i ment was LR stacked up on the long ends, another good thing about this is that in my 125 i anly have 175lbs of LR and it looks full.

ohhhhhhhh. i thought you meant along the long sides, you mean the ends!! That makes more sense.

I'd love to see this if anyone has a setup like this with a pic.

yea i thought he ment the long sides as well....thats sorta how mine is done atm. As you can see from the photos above (even though there is not much rock). But I imagine I will be changing it when I put in the rest of my rock. How I am not sure yet.
