RODI pressure guage

My rodi (BRS 5 stage :thumbsup: ) unit came in today. My pressure on the guage is reading aroung 85psi. Is that too high? If so whats the high/low range I should shoot for?

If that's into the RO section that should be OK. Higher pressures improve RO efficiency a little. I believe it higher pressures that would be a concern for the membran and other seels on the unit. If I recall something like 130psi.

I just added a booster pump as my pressure was low. I have been experimenting with pressures between 80psi and 100psi.

Mine hits 80 no issues. As said it improves efficiency.

It looks like that guage is inbetween the ro and membran sections.

Meaning it is right before the membrane? That is great water pressure, they are more efficient with higher PSI, I think the maximum PSI is 100 on most units.

Shoot BuckeyeFS a question on it. Then buy from him ....he is very helpful answering RO/DI questions with zero plugging of his sproducts.

I have a spectrapure unit. It recommends me be at 80 psi
