Agree with this, I would add spectrapure into the list of options too.How much water are you going to need (tank size)?
Does your public water system disinfect with chlorine or chloramine?
Lots of options here, including units from buckeye hydro, air water ice, brs.
I've had zero problems with my BRS 4 stage 75 gpd unit.
It keeps me in all the RO/DI in need for over 500 gallons of system volume.
I'd recommend that a 4 stage (not 5 stage) system be anyone's default, and add to that only to address specific feedwater quality issues or quirks in the way you want to run the system. In general any 5 stage system will do just fine for you..
Even 4 stage as I believe NY already has very clean water as it is..
only if that fits the way you want to run the systemOne featuring an ASOV valve,
on an RODI system you really want a THREE probe TDS meter -dual TDS meter
I'd go a step further and call a pressure gauge a "must" have, rather than a nice addition.and a pressure gauge
