Thought I would share the progress on my upgrade. So far I have my current tanks moved to where the fish room is going. The new tank(300 gal) will be placed, then have a wall built around it to finish the project.

The front one is a ASM g5 and the back one is a Deltec AP851 if I remember right.

Well I managed to get the first closed loop built. Hope to get the second done this weekend and plumb the return pump.



Drilled the holes.

Test fit.

Remove to paint.

Final assembly.

What are the dims of your new 300? 96" x 36" footprint?

TOTM, no probably not with this tank. It's a standard 300. 96L X 24W X 30H.

I had just finished filling the tank when I took the pictures I posted earlier. Need to put the lighting together so I can move some corals.

Well I was able to get the light together today and temporarily set them on the tank. I moved some temporary occupents into the tank so I could take down another tank.

Looks great Ron, What bulbs are you using for your T-5's, Blue Special? . I am assuming your using the VHO's for Actinic. I think the Kelvin is about perfect.

The aquascaping needs some fine tuning but you can get the idea.
