I was flipping through some pics and came across some from my son's room and thought I'd share...I wish I would have gone with simpsons :D

That looks great. Does she do that for $$?

My wife does some mural work like that and could earn quite a bit of $ if she would market herself.

I keep trying to talk her into doing that full-time to make big bucks and support my reef habit. She's not going for it...

She is a stay at home mom and this was VERY time consuming...I saw a flyer for something similar at dierbergs but it wasn't that nice and it was EXPENSIVE!

Who knows, maybe when the kids start going to daycare/school

I can't believe she's not going for supporting your addiction!

You should have done a Fear and Loathing themed room, it's not far from Dr. Suess.

Only you think Hunter S. Thompson when you think of a kids room
(plus the movie sucked...book was much better)

I wish I would have done simpsons!

That is pretty choice work. She could indeed make some cash doing it.

Would she be interested in doing something on a smaller scale? My daughter loves horses... Unfortunately, I too am artistically challenged.

yep...all painted...My wife did it...Basically, she took whatever pics we wanted and copied them to transparency paper and did some of the outlining...However, you'd be suprised how little it actually helps...Shading on Dr. Suess was a nightmare

I will ask her...Do you have any specific picture in mind? Plus, you're only a mile from us, so that makes it easier

Could be just random horses, maybe 3 or 4 different. Are you familiar with Spirit?

Plus there is always the possibility of frags for you for getting the wife to do that! :D

Well with the dr. suess, the colors are all primary but I guess she is just good...There is NO WAY I could have done something like that

WOW, your son will look at those pictures someday when he is much older and truely know what what a great mom he has. The time and effort it takes to do something like that can only come from a mothers love for her child.
