rose nem

i have a rose nem under 100w led in a 40g frag tang and it was bright red and a little bigger then a softball, but over the past month it has gotten smaller and lost alot of color. i also have a little green bubble that is doing grate in the same tank. i added a clown fish to make sure it was being fed. but it still dosnt look happy. should i move it back to metal hailids?

not enough info like james said.. what are you test results and water params?? i have an anemone tank that is a 35 gallon and there is 4 10k pc and 4 atcintincs and they are thriving! your led should be enough for that size tank.. are you feeding the nem?

ya i replace it weekly...and i do water change weekly

Maybe too much or not enough light? Have you tried moving the rock its on?

I would say too much light, had a similar experience using 50W multichip led and 24 blue Cree led on a 54G corner. GBTA was fine, RBTA bleached, had to dial back the 50W to 30% now colors are coming back, LED's are more powerfull than they look.

I have a Rbta under a 120w full spectrum LED light in my 40b at 3/4 power and it loves it. Maybe you just need to acclimate it.
