Rose Tip Anemone

Hello,
Looking at placing an order for a rose tip anemone from your site...Just wonder how accurate the sizes are? and if the colors are as vibrant as the pic shows them? I have no worries about my tank condition and the lighting for the guy, but should i be concerned with the restriction on the gauranteed?

Thanks for the question. Sizing anemones is very hard. Typically, the sizing comes from the diameter of the oral disk and not the extent of the tentacles. But anemones can inflate and deflate their bodies greatly changing the overall size of the animal. We try our best to match the sizes to those displayed when pulling animals. The colors can vary widely. Some are more pink. Some are more red. We had a bunch or orangeish ones a few months ago. They can also have other colors such as green showing. The picture is really just a representation.

As for the guarantee, bubble anemones are fairly difficult to kill. That being said, the rose bubbles do need more light than other bubble tips which is why the restriction is there. If you have high intensity reef tank lighting then you will be fine. We do cover the animal if it is DOA and generally speaking a bubble tip which ships well will survive with no problem.

Hope that helps.
