Rotifer ?

Since my clowns stopped laying eggs after I moved their rock abit, I decided to shut down my rotifer cultures. What can I do to save some for future use. i also have been brewing phyto since the begining of Sept and that too needs to be shut down. What would the shelf life of phtyo be in the fridge?
Hopefully they will start again but my cultures get out of control and I feel I am wasting time and energy while I have no larve to feed...
thanks for your help...

The rotifers really need very little car to survive. I'd probably keep them going. The phyto is a pain to culture. I'd switch to instant algae if you can. Its a bit expensive.

Well I was using a 5 gal bucket and would check the rots daily and their numbers were incredible. I didn't use the per ml measurement is was like rots per square inch... LOL. I saved some but I know they won't survive long. I was hoping they turned back into cysts and would come back to life at a future date. I had great success culturing and feel I can get right back into it when the time comes. Thanks for the reply....
