rovster's grow out challenge update.....

Here are some updated pics. I've seen some ok encrusting but tank has been unstable until recently hence to healing burned areas. For most of the challenge I had in sand do my pistol would knock it over regularly not sure if that affected things. That said this is a slow growing coral. Color is beautiful.

Let's get this party started!! But first, a little about my tank. Tank is a custom Reef Savvy (52"x26"x19") about 102 gallons.

Lighting: 4 G2 Radion Pros + 4 T5 (front to back...ATI Actinic, B+, C+, B+)
Flow: 3 MP40, WB 5000 Return
Filtration: SRO XP2000 skimmer(Avast Swabbie), 5L Siporax, 1C GFO in reactor monthly, Carbon in mesh bag occasionally. I run a fuge with Chaeto and LR.

Dosing: 2 part (BRS) run by APEX. Vinegar Vodka mix on doser. Prodibio biodigest and bioptim bimonthly. KZ SpongePower 5 drops daily. Sodium Nitrate, homemade concoction twice weekly as needed. Random supplements: KZ Pohls Xtra, Acropower, KZ CoralVitalizer, Oyster Magnifique. The random supplements I do not have a set schedule, just here and there as needed.
Salt: IO/RC 50:50, but recently trying DD Ocean because Eddie says its the bees knees.....


I am a selfproclaimed colorblind acroholic. I collect colorless SPS with fancy names because I can't see colors, and the fancier the name the more colorful it must be right?

Do I really need to clarify? First set of pics (3 total) are current. I mounted it to a dead hammer skeleton so all the plug and putty encrusted over. I just quoted my original post.
