ROWAphos + PhosBan Reactor

i was wondering can rowaphos use in the phosban reactor? as i know rowaphos is pretty small sz (kind of like sand). what i mean is can the foam disc hold the small size of the media?
i have a 90 gallon tank.

yes you can use in a reactor just fine i do just set the flow so that the rowa just tumbles gently and u'll be fine

what model of pump are you using? is maxi jet 600 too strong?

i have a MJ900 for a feed pump
works great, i think it's better then your cheap media reactors.

well, phosban reactor is about the same price as the BRS reactor.

love the site that you sent. how long you have been using the BRS? does it leak so far?

i use a mj 900 but i use a valve on it that is closed about half way

dosen't leak a drop, works 100% better then any other one i've had, most people i've talked to here have them.
been using it about a month now.
