Royal Gamma Aggression?

I just added a Melanurus Wrasse a few minutes later my Royal Gamma came out of his hiding spot and opened up his mouth. Is this bad? Anything I can do?

I would watch them. It may just be a territory thing. I know my melanurus was skittish at first but then held his own against my neon dottyback. I wouldn’t worry too much unless you see significant torn fins or a beat up fish laying about

My Royal Gramma does that from time to time. It almost looks like it's yawning. It's never shown any aggression to anything else in the tank so I doubt you need to worry about it.
