i got a royal gramma earlier this week
awsome fish, he is doing great
i read they were reef safe and non-aggressive

just curious to make sure because i noticed when he was eating today he has a pretty big mouth in relation to the size of his body

i have a yellow clown goby and he's my guy
if this gramma eats him i will be angry

do i have anything to worry about?

You dont have anything to worry about.. The grammas are little chickens, big mouths yes but not to worry, they are a little bit territorial when someone gets in their space, but he wont eat your goby.

I 2nd that. I added mine to my 30 gallon first. About a month and a half later, I added a Bicolor Blenny. They didnt exactly hit it off. I guess it was a combination of similar coloration and the fact that the Gramma had the run of the tank for a decent period of time. Nothing major happened but there was some aggression from the gramma for the first 24 hours. About another month later I added a pair of Black Oscellaris Clowns. The Gramma was very standoffish for the first couple of days but once he figured out that they weren't aggressive he returned to normal. Don't worry about the big mouth, never seen him eat anything bigger than mysis. Although it is pretty sweet when you see them "yawn."

No worries.. If you add anything else though, there might be issues. Some people report that the temperament of there royal grammas being on par with damsels.

I have a royal gramma in my 37 and anything I try to add (unless bigger) he kills. He's also the only fish that has evaded my fish trap. I had another one when I started my reef 6+ years ago and was very docile. I guess its hot or miss in a smaller tank, nut the one I have now is a real bas%&$d!

as long as he doesn't eat my little buddy (the goby)
i think hes cool
i was actually worried my clownfish would be
a problem for him the big female tried to bully him at
first now everything seems cool

thanx for the feedback all!!!!!!!!

I've added plenty of fish after my gramma and no problems with the fish ... user error, other issues yeah but the gramma never bothers anything in my tank.
