Royal Gramma & Pseudo both in 90?

Would there be any problems with these both in my 90? The Royal Gramma has been in there for a year. He has claimed a spot to the far side.

I am considering something red like:

Red Spot Pseudochromis (pseudochromis sp.)
Mccullochi Pseudochromis (Cypho purpurescens)
or another colorful Pseudo.

Is anybody keeping a Royal with a Pseudo?

Thanks.

I am. It's enough room for them to stay out of each other's way. As a matter of fact, when they first were put together, I only had a 58 gallon.

I had a Neon Dottyback in a 90 and added a Royal Gramma. He killed the Gramma. It may have been different if the Gramma was there first since the pseudochromis is the more aggressive fish. On that note I added a Lawnmower Blenny and the Dottyback left him alone so the killing of the Gramma was definitely due to them looking alike. I would try getting a pseudo that is completely different in color from the RG.

It will depend ENTIRELY on the fish you have.

I highly caution against placing a Pseudo in with other fish of similar colour or shape.

Some it may work with but from experience more than often than not you end up with a Psuedo on it's own.

They can be very mean little fish. Tho sooo beautiful....

DJ is right. If there is anything else that slightly resembles a pseudo in the same tank as the pseudo, then it's only a matter of time before you see one of the nastiest fish. But they are beautiful.

Thanks. I did have a Strawberry Pseudo a while back and it was a nasty little bugger. I just thought that some weren't as bad, but from what I'm reading, I guess it's a gamble. So, I suppose I'll go another direction.
