About a week ago I found my ever so elusive gramma practically sucked against my MP10 power head in my mixed reef tank. I was able to catch the gramma and out in a container with tank water, quickly put together a 10 gallon hospital tank, and transfer the gramma the next morning. I noticed that the gramma' tail fin was split ( could have been a result of the power head) and swim find were a little frayed. My gramma came with my TBSaltwater kit almost two years ago and has been a health eater. I have in the tank a pair of clowns and a lawnmower blenny for fish among various shrimp and sps, lps, and soft corals. . I do have a bullseye pistol who's been in the tank as long as I've had the gramma.
It's been a week now and the fins have healed but the fish is behaving the same. Coloration is not as brilliant. I'm putting sinking pellets in the tank but I've not seen the fish eat and I don't know if it's eating or they're just dissolving. I've attached a few photos of the behavior(pretty much just tries to stay in the same place). I'd love to heal this fish and add back to the tank of possible. Appreciate any thoughts. I can text a video to anyone who would like to see.
