RTN- don't know what to do. Pics

Just my opinion I would cut the dead tips so that the coral would heal quicker and look nice in no time. I didn't mean to butcher it just cut the tips away.
edit: OOps I thought you were responding to me lol my bad

WHY ARE YOU SAYING TO BUTCHER THE CORALS? 100% BAD ADVICE.

Just kidding...:lolspin:

I agree with your comment too. I was a bit frustrated by that comment saying he could not bring them back.

Ok, I have alk up between 7-8 and will be dosing to bring it up a little more. Would the alk part of two part, or unbaked baking soda in robe better for this? Also finally have my own RODI unit coming this week (been driving thirty miles to get it) so more water changes will be happening to stabilize things.

I'm so scared to break the tips- it always feels like I'm going to snap the whole coral off.

Thanks for all the advice.

Tim

The alk isyou are talking about would be perfect for what you are doing. In regards to the tips, you need to doon asap.

Get some bone cutters and they will cut easy. Cut just bellow the dead part just a little into the healthy tissue. Me personaly I would try to make sure that I trimed it so the colony would have a overall nice shape to it.
