I made a mistake on my 150 rm sump, where the stock bulkhead was i tried to cut out a bigger hole and ended up screwing up, is there anyway i can "patch" up the hole by putting a piece of of acrylic over the hole and glueing it down or is the sump finished??

the thing is with the 150 on the inside of the tub there are 2 pieces sticking out from where the hole is so i wont be able to get a full seal

yes there are 3" bluckhead and 3" to 2" reducers.

However I would use a peice of acrylic to patch the hole using 3M 5200 sealant. Then you can drill the right size hole.

well if i was going to get a hole saw and then drill the correct hole for a 3 inch bulk, would i still need to patch with the acrylic? BTW what is the correct hole saw for a 3 inch bulk?

your looking at drilling a 5" hole for a 3" bulkhead.

3.5" hole for the 2" bulkhead.

At least for SCH80 Spears brand fittings. Its what I use at work, i trust them.
