Running an ATO through a wall

I purchased a new home about a month ago which is big enough to allow me to retire my 65 Hex and install a 125G. I can't get my RO unit anywhere close to the tank/sump and my floor is slab but on the other side of the wall where my tank sits is my garage. My thought is to hook up my RO to the outside hose to fill a 45 gallon barrel then roll the barrel into the garage as my reserve. For obvious reasons I want to punch as small of a hole as possible through the wall so I was thinking an in line pump stationed in my cabinet would be the best solution (pump would be controlled by a float valve and on a timer). However, it will need to be self priming because the pump will need to be shut down when I have to move the reserve towards the front of the garage to top of with RO. Any recommendations on what pump to use or is my idea a disaster in the making?

PS there will be very little headroom as the reserve will only be about 1-2' below the floor of the stand
